These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the rules for using Secure Retire Circle — the calculator, free guide, forms, and everything else on this site (we call it the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. About Secure Retire Circle

Secure Retire Circle provides free, general-information tools for Australian users who want to understand retirement income, superannuation drawdown, and Age Pension interaction. The Site is operated for educational purposes only. See our About page for more context.

3. Calculator — estimates and limitations

The retirement income calculator produces illustrative projections only. It is not a guarantee of future income, super balance, or Age Pension entitlement.

You acknowledge that:

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are based on simplified assumptions (for example steady spending, a fixed investment return, and published assets test thresholds at the time of build)
Age Pension figures are approximate and subject to assets test, income test, deeming, and Services Australia assessment
Minimum pension drawdown rates, tax, fees, insurance, and market returns can change and are not fully modelled
Your actual super balance, pension payments, and longevity may differ materially from any projection

For official Age Pension rules, use the Services Australia assets test and other government resources.

4. Free guide and communications

If you request the free Secure Retire Circle guide or subscribe to communications through our forms, you agree that:

Information you provide must be accurate to the best of your knowledge
We may send you the guide and related educational content by email
You may unsubscribe or opt out of marketing communications at any time
The guide is general information only and subject to the same limitations as the rest of the Site

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and only for personal, non-commercial purposes (unless we agree otherwise in writing). You must not:

Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

We are not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site, calculator results, guide content, or communications — including indirect, consequential, or economic loss
We are not liable for decisions you make regarding super, pensions, investments, tax, or retirement planning based on information from the Site
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having that service supplied again

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Secure Retire Circle and its operators from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or violation of any law or third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our wrongful conduct.

11. Privacy

Calculator assumptions, pension thresholds, and guide content may change without notice as rules and rates evolve.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia for disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the Site, subject to any rights you may have under consumer protection laws.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
